Telaga Air Fishing Competition

The Fishing Competition will be held at Kampung Telaga Air Waterfront scheduled on Saturday 20 August, 2005.

Kampung Telaga Air is a popular fishing village situated 35 kilometers from the Kuching City (40 minutes drive by road from Kuching City). The public can enjoy the fresh sea breeze at the Waterfront Park together with their family members.

The Fishing Competition is open to all fishing angler. They can register at MPP Office, Kota Padawan, Kuching and the registration fee is RM10.00 per rod/fishing line. The participant with the heaviest catch will be declared the winner. There are lots of fabulous prizes (fishing equipment and hampers) to be given away.

Various activities will be held on the same day at Kampung Telaga Air such as, Karaoke Singing, Lucky Draw and Telematch jointly with the local communities.
